How HealthShaper Hub handles your data: no accounts, calculators that run only in your browser, and the cookies Blogger and Google may set, in plain English.

Who is responsible
This policy covers healthshaperhub.com. “We” and “us” mean the operator of HealthShaper Hub, who is responsible for the site. There are no accounts on this site, and we don’t collect personal information directly through it.
What information is collected
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your address, any name you include and your message. We use them only to reply and act on what you report, keep them no longer than needed, and never add you to a mailing list.
Visit data collected by Blogger and Google
Because this site is hosted on Blogger, Google’s servers deliver every page. Google receives details such as your IP address, your browser’s user-agent and the page you visit, along with performance and security metrics. It uses this information to deliver and maintain its services, generate usage statistics, and detect and address abuse, among other purposes its policies describe.
Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy and explains how it uses information from sites that use its services. Blogger shows us aggregate statistics, such as page views, referring sites, and visitors’ countries, browsers and operating systems. These reports don’t identify you.
Comments
If comments are open on a page and you post one, your comment and the name or profile you post under are public. Blogger processes comments under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics, only if enabled
We may turn on Google Analytics, a built-in Blogger option, to learn which pages are useful. If we do, it uses cookies to measure things like pages viewed, approximate location and device type, and shows us aggregated reports. You can block it with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising, not active yet
The site shows no ads as of this update but may show ads from third-party networks, such as Google AdSense, in the future. If it does:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, and opt out of personalized ads from participating companies with the Digital Advertising Alliance’s WebChoices tool.
Before any ads appear, we’ll name the networks here. Where the law requires consent for analytics or advertising cookies, we’ll ask for it first.

Blocking cookies in your browser may stop some features from working. Google describes its cookies on its cookies page. By default, Blogger shows visitors in the EU a notice about Google’s cookies.
Data stored by our tools
Our calculators do their math on your device, and we never receive your inputs. Only the wallet security checklist saves anything: it keeps your ticked items in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so your progress is there next time. We can’t see that data. To remove it, use the checklist’s Reset button or clear this site’s data in your browser.
How information is used and shared
We use the information above only to reply to you, fix errors, see which content is useful and keep the site secure. We don’t sell it or share it for advertising. Apart from Google, which hosts the site, and our email provider, we disclose it only when the law requires.
Under EU and UK law, we rely on legitimate interests to run the site and answer emails, and on your consent where it’s required for optional cookies. Google may process data on servers outside your country; its privacy policy explains how it protects these transfers.
Links to other websites
Sites our articles cite, such as regulators, have their own privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for their practices.
Children
HealthShaper Hub is not directed at children under 13, or under the higher age set by law where they live, such as 16 in parts of the EU. We don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If a child has emailed us, tell us and we’ll delete the message.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK and US states such as California, you may have the right to:
- see and get a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- correct or delete it
- object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent
- opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither)
- exercise these rights without being treated differently
To make a request, email hello@healthshaperhub.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm the request is yours, and will reply within legal time limits.
For visit data Google holds, use Google’s own privacy controls. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page, and the date at the top, before changes such as turning on analytics or adding ads.
