Editorial Policy

How HealthShaper Hub picks topics, ranks sources, uses AI writing tools, verifies every calculation with code, stays neutral and corrects errors when reported.

How we choose topics

We write about the questions people ask when they want to measure their crypto instead of guessing: what a trade really cost, how concentrated a portfolio is, how to store a recovery phrase, how a scam works. Topics are grouped into eight clusters, from portfolio health and crypto math to wallet security and scam awareness, and each cluster has a main guide that the others build on.

We favor topics where a formula, a worked example, a checklist or a decision rule helps. We don’t publish coin picks, price predictions or market news.

Research standards and source hierarchy

When sources disagree, we give weight to them in this order:

  1. Primary technical sources: protocol specifications and developer documentation, such as Ethereum and Bitcoin improvement proposals (EIPs and BIPs).
  2. Regulators and public agencies: such as the SEC, CFTC, FTC and FBI in the US and the FCA in the UK for investor protection and scams, and NIST and CISA for security practices.
  3. Professional standards and investor education: such as the CFA Institute’s standards for calculating returns and FINRA’s investor education.
  4. Official project and methodology pages: a project’s own documentation, or a data provider’s published definitions of terms like circulating supply.

We don’t use affiliate review sites, anonymous social media posts or promotional material as sources. Every article lists the sources it relies on. Time-sensitive facts carry a date, such as “as of September 2026,” and because fees and prices change constantly, we give ranges and explain how to check current figures.

How we use AI tools

Content on HealthShaper Hub is researched and drafted with the help of AI writing tools, then checked against the primary sources cited in each article. A claim that can’t be verified from a listed source is rewritten or removed.

You should know how the content you rely on is made. AI tools can make mistakes, so every factual claim is tied to a source and every number is recalculated.

How we check the math

Every calculation is verified with code before it’s published. Worked examples show their inputs, steps and result, so you can repeat them yourself. Money is rounded to cents or whole dollars and percentages to one or two decimal places.

Our calculators implement the formulas published on their own pages, and each tool page includes a worked example and a list of limitations.

Neutrality

  • No paid placements. No company pays to be mentioned, reviewed or ranked, and we don’t publish sponsored content.
  • No affiliate links. At launch, the site has no affiliate or sponsorship relationships.
  • Categories, not brands. We write “a centralized exchange” or “a hardware wallet” instead of naming companies. When a product must be named for instructions, such as a specific block explorer, it’s named neutrally and isn’t an endorsement.
  • No calls to buy or sell. We never tell readers to buy, sell or hold a specific asset, and examples use hypothetical prices.

If the site adds advertising in the future, advertisers will have no say in what we cover.

Updates and corrections

Every article shows a “last reviewed” date. We revisit an article when we learn that a cited source, a rule or a network mechanic has changed, and when readers report problems.

To report an error, email hello@healthshaperhub.com with the page address, what you think is wrong and, if possible, a source. Our contact page lists what else helps.

We check each report against primary sources. When an error is confirmed, we correct the article and update its “last reviewed” date, and if the fix changes a number or a conclusion, we note the correction in the article.
